Summary
The Workforce Development Program Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, and successful execution of our workforce development programming. This includes but is not limited to operating as a project lead; forming and strengthening partnerships; overseeing staff, contractors, and volunteers; developing and monitoring outcomes; and overseeing program budgets under the supervision of the Director of Programs and Operations. This person will play a critical role in the execution of future growth strategies.
Duties
- Directly manage all Level I Instructors, Contractors, and Workforce Development Volunteers
- Coordinate all graduations and class scheduling
- Represent the agency at community events and meetings
- Responsible for supporting organizational and/or grant/contract reporting
- Lead connection of alumni to current students and events
- Assist in the evaluation of data to improve program effectiveness and efficiency
- Create and lead new and innovative projects to enhance the workforce development program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- Must have experience in leading and/or supervising staff; more than one year preferred
- Experience in career coaching or counseling a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to accountability, measuring outcomes, and a results-oriented culture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, supervision, administration, and management skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
