Get Involved

The Ladder Alliance offers women who may be survivors of domestic violence or low-income the job skills necessary to secure employment in today’s technological job market.

The Ladder Alliance works to eliminate barriers to attending class by providing snacks, bi-lingual classes, and evening classes.

Students also earn vouchers for attending class that can used in our on-site “Success Store” to purchase new or gently-used professional attire.

The Salon

At The Ladder Alliance, we look at the whole person, and try to provide ways to empower and reshape the way our students feel about their abilities and themselves as a whole. After countless hours in the classroom, we are proud to be able to provide both professional attire, and access to professional salon services to our students.

The salon offers a range of services:

  • Deep Conditioning Treatments
  • Trim
  • Haircuts
  • Wash & Blow-dry
  • Styling for Interviews & Special Occasions
  • Hair Consultations

Supply Donations

Our Salons run solely on the donation of goods and time from members of our community. Please consider purchasing extra hair products to donate to our Salon. We accept new, unopened products for all hair types.

Needs: Shampoo, Conditioner, Deep Conditioning Masks, De-tangler, Leave-In Moisturizer, Hair Spray, Mousse, Clips, Combs, etc.

The Success Store

Women entering or re-entering the workforce often lack the appropriate clothing to wear to interviews and work. The Success Store addresses this barrier to employment and provides an incentive to keep participants engaged and motivated throughout the course.

Participants can earn points used to “purchase” items through attendance, class involvement, and punctuality. The Success Store is also a resource for other social service agencies in Tarrant County. Through a voucher system, agencies can refer their clients to the Success Store to receive two professional outfits and a pair of shoes for interviews and work.

Success Store Donations

At The Success Store, we are dedicated to empowering women and helping them succeed in the workforce. We gladly accept donations of women’s business clothes and accessories, including purses and jewelry. By donating these items, you are not only providing women with the clothing they need for interviews and work, but also giving them a boost in confidence and motivation.

Volunteer Opportunities

At The Ladder Alliance, volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization. Their dedication and support are vital to the success of our programs. By giving their time and skills, volunteers play a crucial role in empowering women who may be survivors of domestic violence or facing financial challenges. From serving as salon associates, event volunteers, or classroom support, volunteers make a tangible impact on the lives of our participants. Their passion and commitment help create a supportive environment, where women can learn essential job skills, gain confidence, and build a brighter future. Join us today and be part of the positive change we create together. Get involved and make a difference at The Ladder Alliance.
